All About YAMI & YMI
We are so lucky that our girls get the choice to enter not one pageant but two when we go to Texas. Young American Miss International and Young Miss International are held on the same weekend and so our girls have the opportunity to compete for BOTH titles.
The girls spend a week total in Houston Texas, 4 days of competition including Registration, themed parties, rehearsals, interview, onstage question, photoshoots, day trips and of course lots of shopping!
Registration and Rehearsals
The Girls go to registration the first day where they receive goodie bags of presents, their stage number and sign up for any optional rounds. This is the first time the girls meet the international director Sabrina and other contestants in their category. There are two rehearsals over the 4 days to give the girls time to get in some practice on the stage!
Young American Miss International
This competition is scored on application, onstage question, photogenic, fashion wear and evening wear.
