Eligibility

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive pageant.  Our goal is to support women and give them the support they need so they can grow and achieve.

Entry Requirements

  • Contestants must fit the following age groups according to their age, marital status as of January 2024.

             - 7-10 Junior Miss 

             - 11-13 Pre Teen Miss

             - 14-17 Teen Miss

             - 18 - 25 Miss*

             - 26 - 45 Ms unmarried, can have children.

             - 18 - 45 Mrs Must Be Married

             - 46+ Classic Ms Can be Married, divorced and have children

  • Must reside in Europe. 

  • Must have a clear background with good values that match those of the YEMI system.

​* If you are aged 17- 25 and are a mother you will be eligible to age up to our Ms category.

Competition Rounds

These Rounds are Compulsory to compete in and are included in your application Fee. ​

​

  • White Opening Number

​

  • Red, White and Blue Wear (must be a combination of all three colours) 

​

  • Fashion Wear

​

  • Evening Wear

​

  • Interview​

Optional Entry

These competitions are optional to enter.  They cost an additional £20 to enter and give everyone the opportunity to win more awards.  The Scores from these events do not go towards the overall score for the main title. There will be two winners of each title, split into age categories of Junior and Pre teen and teen + 

​

  • Spokesmodel - Contestants will say a one minute speech in front of a panel of judges on a topic of their choice. ​

​

  • Model Supreme - Contestants will have 90 seconds in front of the camera with our photographer and the photos will be given to judges to decide who is the model supreme winner. 

​

  • Beauty Supreme - Highest overall scorer in photogenic, interview and Evening wear. 

​

  • Ambassador - This title is not scored and will be given to the girls who we believe really live by our motto ‘Aspire to Inspire’ through their actions as a finalist and on the weekend of the pageant finals.

Winner Requirements

These are some of the expected tasks of the future Young European International winners. Should you win you will be asked to sign a contract citing all expectations but these are the main duties of our future queens and given a Queen's handbook of expected behaviours. 

​

  • The winners of YEMI will sign a non-compete contract to refrain from competing in other pageants or any role that will pose a conflict of interest until the successors are crowned.

​

  • The future queens will be expected to give their all to represent their titles as best they can, making sure to be the ultimate representative at internationals for the Europe.

​

  • Winners may not accept sponsorship that conflicts with the sponsorship provided to the organisation and will query all sponsor enquiries with their director first.

​

  • You must actively represent the system. Completing any and all expected duties and being a good ambassador for the system, encouraging future entries.

​

  • You must give notice if you are unable to attend the internationals in America BEFORE any flights or accommodation is booked.

​

  • You will return to crown your successor at the following year's finals. 

​

  • If you are unable to fulfil any of the required duties as listed in the contract you will receive, the YEMI directors are allowed to remove the title from you at any time.
